Buffalo unveils a range of 802.11ac routers at CES 2014

At CES 2014, Buffalo Americas, a global manufacturer of wired and wireless networking and network and direct attached storage solutions, yesterday announced the availability of three new high performance wireless routers, including the AirStation Extreme AC 1900 Gigabit Dual Band Wireless Router WXR-1900DHP, the AirStation AC 1200 Dual Band Wireless Router WHR-1166D, and the AirStation AC433 Wireless Travel Router WMR-433. The AirStation Extreme AC 1900 Gigabit Dual Band Wireless Router (WXR-1900DHP) offers high speed dual band wireless connectivity, delivering optimal performance and the latest in Wi-Fi technology while offering a new class of features above and beyond the traditional home router. It selivers concurrent dual band AC 1900 operation with speeds up to 1300 + 600 Mbps. A 1 GHz dual core processor ensures optimal performance. The router supports 5 GHz beamforming to any 11ac or 11n device to boost performance and range for more reliable, high speed wireless connection for bandwidth intensive activities. Users can connect a printer to the network, add shared storage, stream HD multimedia and surf the web worry-free with cloud-based Norton web filtering and parental control by Symantec. The AirStation AC 1200 Dual Band Wireless Router (WHR-1166D) provides concurrent dual band AC 1200 operation with 866 + 300 Mbps speeds.
