ASUS announces RT-AX57 Go travel router at CES 2024

Asus announced at CES 2024 the RT-AX57 Go, an advanced travel router designed with the modern digital wanderer in mind. The device, is compact yet powerful enough to boast features that enhance connectivity, speed, and security.

The device is compact, measuring just 120mm by 21.5mm, making it a perfect travel companion. Despite its small size, it operates on dual-band WiFi 6 and can tap into the 160MHz channel, significantly enhancing network capacity and speed.

The router offers three connectivity options, catering to various user needs. It includes a gigabit WAN port for traditional router use, a USB 3.2 Gen 1x1 port for 4G/5G mobile tethering, and a public WiFi mode (WISP mode). This mode provides secure access to public networks, a feature indispensable for travelers.

ASUS has integrated a slew of security features into the RT-AX57 Go. It boasts robust AiProtection network security, offering real-time network monitoring and threat prevention. Additionally, it includes parental controls, allowing parents to manage and monitor their children's online activities. The router supports various VPN protocols and is compatible with over 30 VPN service providers, ensuring secure and private internet access.

The RT-AX57 Go also features a slide switch, enabling users to access its features without the need to navigate the graphical user interface (GUI).
