The Apple Vision Pro is reportedly set to launch in February 2024 as production ramps up overseas, according to Bloomberg. Production of the headset has reportedly been running at "full speed" for several weeks in facilities in China in anticipation of the launch. The company also sent an email to software developers on Wednesday encouraging them to "get ready" for the device by testing their apps and sending their finished software to Apple for feedback. Apple is reportedly sending at least two staffers from each of its retail locations to Apple headquarters next month for two-day training sessions on how to sell the device. Afterward, those employees will be responsible for training their peers and managing sales of the Vision Pro at their stores. The Vision Pro is Apple's first new product category since the launch of the Apple Watch in 2015. Similar to the Apple Watch rollout in 2015, the Vision Pro will initially be available exclusively in Apple Stores, where buyers will need to make an appointment to pick one up - in part as a way for Apple to ensure that the device fits each customer properly.
