Amazon has showed off a plane, called Amazon One, which will deliver packages for its Prime service customers. The Boeing 767-300 is part of the company's plan to support one- and two-day U.S. package delivery.

The company says it already has 11 planes flying for Amazon and expects to introduce 40 planes just like this one over the next two years. The Boeing jets have been leased from Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings and Air Transport Services Group Inc., which will operate the air cargo network.

"Creating an air transportation network is expanding our capacity to ensure great delivery speeds for our Prime members for years to come," Dave Clark, Amazon's senior vice president of worldwide operations said.

By using those planes Amazon will be more independent and won't need the services of carriers like United Parcel Service Inc. and FedEx Corp.
